This course explores the importance of building strong, sustainable networks for foster carers, recognising that fostering can be rewarding and intensively demanding. We will explore the impact of fostering on the fostering household and explore the types of support that foster carers need and the barriers to achieving this.  Considering practical, emotional and social support needs, we will explore ways to create and maintain support systems that support resilience, enhance retention and the wellbeing of fostering families.

Foster Carers, Supervising Social Workers and all professionals supporting fostering families.
