In this training, which is funded by Welsh Government, we will look specifically at Family Time/Contact for children who are cared for under a Special Guardianship Order.
This workshop is specifically designed to empower Special Guardians by providing them with insights into the complexities of planning and managing family time with birth families. It aims to equip caregivers with the knowledge, best practice, and the latest research, enabling them to confidently fulfil their role and responsibilities in this process. The training will offer valuable perspectives on the emotional and practical aspects of family time, children’s rights, and will guide Special Guardians in effectively promoting and enhancing the meaningfulness of family time.
